How to Post a New Job Vacancy
Ø Note: Posting a job in the Broadcast1Source system does not automatically send the job notification to recruiting agencies. You will need to fax notification of job vacancies to the agencies after you post the job.
Ø Highlight the Jobs tab and select Add New Job from the main menu:
Ø This action opens the Add Job Vacancy form as shown below:
Fill out the form as carefully and completely as possible.
You may also use a pre-existing job template by selecting it from the drop down menu on the top of the screen as shown below:
Ø Note - For more information on job templates, see the Job Templates section of this help file.
You may also post the job as a "Blind Job" in case you do not wish the incumbent to know you are advertising a job. This will remove all station identifications and allow you to complete the recruiting process without alerting your employees. Once the candidate has been hired, you will be able to "Export" the job to the appropriate SEU or Station. An example is shown below:
Ø Note - You will only be able to notify recruiting agencies of job vacancies if you have purchased the Service Pack or set-up Fax1Touch.
Ø When the information is filed out completely from the Add Job Vacancy page, click Submit:
This will open the window shown below which will allow you to notify recruiting agencies of your new job vacancy. See Notify Recruiting Agencies Of Job Vacancies for steps on how to notify agencies of your job posting. Posting a job does not mean the notifications have been sent.
Ø When you are finished, click to return to the main menu.
